More than pipes and wires

One of the first POs I issued at SDG&E in 1982 was for a replenishment part listed on an old file folder stored in a tub file. Its purchase history went back as far as 1950, and every transaction was documented by a buyer who wrote his initials next to his PO number. So in my turn, I wrote my PO number, signed my initials and became part of the continuum. I bet you’re part of it, too.
